I’m Teresa – and I’m so grateful that you’ve stopped by!
A little bit about me:
I’m a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, recording artist, and what I like to think of as an all-around versatile creative. Music has been my world for as long as I can remember. As a young kid throughout my school-years, I was always drawn to anything related to performance, pop culture, or creative expression. I started writing songs as a pre-teen, picked up a guitar when I was fifteen, and by twenty, I took a leap of faith and made the move to Nashville- trusting nothing but (my very beat-up-car to get me there, and) the deep gut-knowing that music was what I was meant to do.
Since then, I’ve built a career shaped by grit, heartbreak, love, loss, lessons, and constant creative evolution. Over the last decade I’ve spent in Nashville, it’s been a journey of incredible highs and soul-crushing lows. But no matter what life has handed me, I’ve never let go of the blind faith I have in my dreams—or the magic of turning my most pivotal life moments into songs.
Along the way, I’ve been fortunate enough to be-able to add some meaningful milestones to my musical resume'. I’ve written with Grammy-nominated songwriters, appeared as a contestant on NBC’s The Voice as a member of Team Blake, performed the national anthem at the NFL’s Panthers vs. Patriots game at Bank of America Stadium- and most recently, had the music video for my single “Paris” featured on CMT.
While the start of my career in Nashville was rooted in country music, these days I’ve been recording and producing new music that draws from an eclectic mix of sounds I love—pop, rock, R&B, acoustic, country, soul, and even vintage 1940s-style ballads with a touch of Old Hollywood flair.
It’s a creative liberation that I believe will show the world—and my supporters—the most authentic version of me.
Whoever she is these days.
